Study Coordinator Evaluation of the Community –Based ART (Okongo and Eenhana Districts) Closing Date: 24.11.2017

You will oversee the implementation of Health Research Systems in the country and provide the Ministry with relevant information that will assist managers and policy makers in planning and decision making. In addition, you will be responsible for the management of the division, promotion and coordination of Health Research in the country, development of health system research and managing health research data.

Senior Nurse Mentor PTRACKER/PMTCT - Windhoek Closing Date: 24.11.2017

The successful incumbent will support the MoHSS PMTCT Programme by providing direct technical assistance to the Programme and working collaboratively with District Nurse Mentors to provide site level guidance and leadership at PMTCT sites. The Senior Nurse Mentor will support the implementation of the PMTCT patient tracking system (Ptracker) with a specific focus on ensuring that the PMTCT Programme aspects are fully considered in addition to supporting training and mentorship of facility staff, providing updates to MoHSS and other stakeholders, and integrating the nurse mentors into the Ptracker system.

SENIOR DATA ANALYST X1 (Software Development Support, Windhoek) Closing Date: 24.11.2017

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of PTracker for the MoHSS PMTCT Program. The support includes development of workflows within PTracker, building of data entry screens and dashboards, building reports and data export functionality and integration of data from external systems.

SENIOR DATA ANALYST X1 (Hardware Management Support, Windhoek) Closing Date: 24.11.2017

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation and rollout of various information systems for the MOHSS, most notably DHIS2 and OpenMRS. The successful candidate will be expected to install, configure and maintain both software and hardware at various levels within the health system – districts, health facilities and the Ministry of Health and Social Services. The incumbent is also responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of the network and server hosting the DHIS2 and OpenMRS databases as well as responding to helpdesk requests.

National Pediatric HIV Treatment Coordinator Closing Date: 24.10.2017

National Cervical-Cancer Health Programme Officer (HPO) Closing Date: 04.10.2017

You will serve as the Cervical Cancer Health Programme Officer and will operate under Family Health Division, Primary Health Care [PHC] within the MOHSS. You will coordinate activities within the MoHSS and with partners for the prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cervical cancer. As the Cervical Cancer Health Programme Officer you will work under the supervision of the Chief Health Programme Officer for the Reproductive, Maternal- and Child Health Sub- division and work alongside the Cancer of the Reproductive Tract National Health Programme Officer as well as NCD National Health Programme Officer in the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MOHSS).

Payroll Administrator Closing Date: 25.08.2017

This position requires an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated individual who is stimulated by operating in a very demanding and fast-paced environment. Working closely with the Director, you will primarily be responsible for co-ordinating the administration of building repairs and maintenance work and assisting with the development of a comprehensive record and systems database for the various properties. You will ensure that the maintenance staff are well acquainted with what is required to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the properties. In addition, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, in dealing with their queries and resolving complaints should there be any. This is a new position within the organisation, designed to drive strategic focus on retention. Currently a marketing activity, the incumbent will establish a new business unit that will define and manage its own organisational identity. Financial Accountant Closing Date: 24.03.2017

The primary objective of this position is to develop monthly consolidated financial statements and management accounts to support management decisions. You will report directly to the Finance Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Chief Financial Officer at the Head Office based in South Africa. The successful incumbent will develop, analyse and make recommendations on key financial information to support sound management decision-making for stability and growth; participate in the crafting and alignment of the unit performance strategy and goals; and facilitate and consolidate the annual budgeting process at line manager level. Your main responsibility will be to prepare a trial balance, monthly and annual financial statements and provide support to Senior Management. You will also be expected to review financial processes, recommend improvements, and where required, develop and implement internal financial controls and assemble information for external auditors’ tax and annual audits. NATIONAL NIMART COORDINATOR Closing Date: 24.03.2017

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting protocols and directives, initiate, coordinate and liaise with other stakeholders and development of partners on the NIMART Strategy, Adolescent Strategy, and Task Shifting. You will also be required to supervise at National, Regional, and Operational levels to plan, develop, organize as well as Monitor and Evaluate NIMART strategy and to facilitate training and education activities at Regional and National levels.

Your key focus areas will be to coordinate and administer study associated activities, being the main point of contact and support person for the data collectors. You will assist in project planning and ensure that pre-established work scope, study protocol, and regulatory requirements are followed. You will also oversee and coordinate the provision of administrative services, including supervision of research support staff, developing and maintaining recordkeeping systems and procedures. This position demands an enthusiastic, proactive and sharp-eyed individual to work collaboratively with stakeholders and within the communities designated for the research.

Programmes Manager (10 Months) Closing Date: 16.02.2017

You will report to the Director of the Programme Management Unit and will ensure timely implementation of Global Fund activities in Namibia while at the same time meeting the basic requirements as expected by the Global Fund for three grants (TB, Malaria and HIV). Your success will hinge on your ability to drive the financial and operational performance of the grants while at the same time responding to the demands of a transitioning organisation. You will establish a solid foundational framework for funded projects in order construct and streamline innovative grant management processes. You should possess exceptional management skills that ensure that the grant funds are effectively and efficiently utilised towards organisational goalsandin accordance with the national strategic frameworks for HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria. You will also ensure that financial resources are used in a transparent manner, as per the Global Fund’s funding regulations and the financial policies.Furthermore, you will function as the liaison between Programme Management Units (PMU) and all the Sub-Recipients in delivering well-coordinated, efficient and effective grant management. If you are an innovative problem solver, with a strong work ethic, experienced in interfacing with a wide range of senior officials from governments and donors and are committed to supporting the aims and objectives of the Global Fund, this position is for you. This is a 10-month contractual position with a possibility of extension.

Regional M&E Officer X1 (Zambezi Region) Closing Date: 10.02.2017

The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection, storage, management, analysis, interpretation and reporting of data required for monitoring the implementation of the facility based in the region. Additionally, he/ she will provide and manage M&E staff specifically Data Clerks in the delivery of HIV/AIDS services. The Regional M&E Officer will work closely with the staff in the Ministry of Health and Social Services' Health directorates and the Response M&E subdivision within the MoHSS to help develop the M&E in the region.

Senior M&E Officer X2 (Windhoek) Closing Date: 10.02.2017

The primary purpose is to design, complete and coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities with the intention of data management, data use and reporting to improve HIV/AIDS services in Namibia. Most projects will require the data to be disclosed via dashboards – with transformation or analysis of that data before it gets displayed. Visualising data on dashboards will be a critical component of the advisor. Additional software development needs may arise occasionally, such as the development of mobile apps, or interoperability layers between existing systems. This position aims to ensure that the project is implemented according to the established protocol. This includes supervising all project staff, their activities, and the two offices based in Katima Mulilo (UNAM) and the Ministry of Health and Social Services.
