The successful candidate will report directly to the Board, which consists of 15 members. This position requires a mature and dynamic individual, who is up to date with the latest human resources trends. The successful candidate will assume the Accounting Officer role in the organisation. The primary goal in this role is to drive strategic imperatives for the sustainability and longevity of the business. The successful candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of the Labour Act as well as best practices in human resources. The successful candidate should be able to understand and manage the various relationships between workers, supervisors, and members of management. The successful candidate should possess good business acumen as he/she will be expected to augment the business, generate funding through membership growth, and manage finances. Success in this role hinges on an ability to network, create trust.
