You will play a fundamental role in providing support in the implementation, at country level, of the regional malaria strategy funded by the Global Fund to Fight HIV, TB, and Malaria. Your success will hinge on your aptitude and interest in coordinating activities; conducting monitoring and rigorous evaluation of program, working across various interventions, and linking activities across the different strategic interventions taking place to eliminate malaria in South Africa, and the other seven E8 member states. As the designated point person in each of the 8 countries, you will serve as the touch point between the national malaria programs, provinces and the regional initiatives. You will, work closely with the Director of Malaria in the National Department of Health (NDOH) to ensure that the country implementation targets set by the regional E8 partnership and the country are being met. To facilitate close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, you will be based in the NDOH in Pretoria, with frequent local and regional travel.
