Site/Instillation Manager

The incumbent will primarily be required to manage and oversee all aspects of a project site from the time that a site is setup, the administration of the actual installation, up to the systematic conclusion and closure of site activities. This requires an exceptional ability to conceptualize the project objectives/outcomes, coupled with superior influencing skills and the ability to collaborate with technical persons and on-site staff in order to shape and fortify the efforts and skills of a functional winning team. Reporting to the Director, you will be required to liaise closely with him and effectively articulate the site-specific requirements, at the same time provide constant feedback on progress and milestones attained. A key component for success in this role is to efficiently oversee the multifaceted nature of the project by applying both a leading and hands-on approach to ensure that resources are mobilized timely and proficiently, and harness the technical capability and aptitude of a vastly diverse team. A high level of flexibility, agility and adaptability is needed considering that each installation site will present its own unique demands and expectations. The incumbent must be vigilant and display an unconditional commitment to uniformly apply the predefined installation regulations as well as customer service standards that safeguard the organisation’s competitive and leading edge.

To display proactivity and the willingness to go the extra mile in securing customer satisfaction is vital to this role. The individual will be required to work on site in different parts of Namibia, for approximately 3 weeks at a time.
