You will play a fundamental role in providing support in the implementation, at country level, of the regional malaria strategy funded by the Global Fund to Fight HIV, TB, and Malaria.Your success will hinge on your aptitude and interest in coordinating activities; working across various interventions and programme units, and linking activities across the different strategic interventions taking place to eliminate malaria in Namibia, and the other seven E8 member states. As the designated point person in each of the 8 countries, you will serve as the touch point between the national malaria programs and the regional initiative. You will be seconded to, and work closely with the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) Manager to ensure that the country implementation targets set by the regional E8 partnership are being met. To facilitate close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, you will be based in the Ministry of Health in Windhoek, with some local and regional travel.
