Senior Finance Specialist

You will provide structured support to all finance activities, evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions. You will assist the Finance Manager in ensuring all the company's operational transactions are recorded and reconciled from journal through to ledger and flow accurately into financial statements, as well as ensure procedural compliance on all processing of creditors, debtors and payment terms. Ensure an efficient accounting function through the control of the general ledger, VAT, petty cash transactions as well as capably assist with the compilation of budgets. Furthermore to maintain financial policies and management information framework systems, to provide quality support services to management and colleagues on all aspects of finance. Key areas of focus would include financial analysis and forecasting, budgetary participation, analyzing financial data, control and reporting, audit support services and compliance with GMP required standards.
