Senior Manager: Human Resources

You will develop proactive HR strategies and interventions to support the business in achieving its long-term objectives. This would require a strong business focus, strong matrix partnerships and significant generalist HR experience. You will shoulder the strategic intent to be an employer of choice and a great place to work for. You will design specific business processes to establish and maintain stakeholder and employee confidence and thereby nurture excellence and service-oriented culture. Through strategic initiatives and interventions you will create an environment where employees work within a culture of radical customer orientation and continuous learning that will move the organization forward. Another key element of the scope of this position would be to develop competitive leadership competence and to create sustainable capacity by attracting, growing, empowering and retaining talent. The position requires an individual who can direct and support the Human Resources framework throughout the entire organization and tailor these to the various contextual and situational conditions on the ground. You will therefore champion and roll-out specific organizational development interventions with the support of the HR Team. These OD interventions include; Performance Management, Training Needs Analyses, Skills Audits, Business Process Re-engineering, Job Evaluation & Grading, Job Analysis & Design inter alia. You will need a conceptual mind-set to meet the multidisciplinary demands associated with this role.
