The successful incumbent willbe responsible for aligning the recruitment and OD service offerings to existing and prospective clients as well as for general administration of the Human Resource function within the Potentia COAG division by ensuring effective implementation and evaluation of HR/ Operational policies and all other HR related functions for the COAG. The incumbent success will hinge on his/ her ability to proactively coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to manage projects effectively. Provide expert advice in the area of HR to COAG Management and project staff in the implementation of appropriate companywide policies, procedures and governance structures that serves to regulate effective control and safeguard employee data and information and processes. Proactively ensure accurate and relevant records of HR policies, procedures, manuals and staff information systems. Typical key performance objectives would include; recruitment; payroll administration, policy development and implementation, attending to labour related issues on behalf of the organization, training and development; provide support and advice to Management on workforce planning, coordinate and initiate strategic Organizational Development interventions aimed at ensuring an efficient and effective organizational structure that would support the organization in achieving its short/ long term organizational objectives. The successful incumbent will in addition provide leadership in managing the process of innovative change with the aim of paving a way towards meaningful transformation that will allow the organization to navigate a climate that underscores sound work ethics, teamwork and the crossing of functional boundaries. The successful incumbent will also be required to act in an advisory function on a range of employment issues to ensure legal compliance and best practices as well as provide across board support in Employment Equity planning and ensure the effective implementation of Affirmative Action guidelines and policies.
