The successful incumbent will play a fundamental role in the establishment of this new regional venture, of which his/ her success will hinge on the ability to adapt to an evolving organization, to think creatively, and to support various functions, beyond the core duties of this role, namely finance, operations and administration. The incumbent will work in close collaboration with the Director of the Secretariat to set up operational systems and frameworks. These include among other, internal operational and financial controls that promote transparency as well as ensure that the organizationÃ¢€™s internal procedures comply with local, donor, and other regulatory requirements.
