MoHSS has the mandate to coordinate an expanded national response to HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria. Government and several development partners have committed an increased amount of resources to its operationalisation. It is therefore important that such resources bring about positive returns through the achievement of the strategic results and outcomes as outlined in different programme activity plans and to demonstrate the effectiveness of programmes both at the national level as well as regional and district levels. As part of the Cooperative Agreement (COAG), each donor recipient has certain contracted reporting requirements which need to be met to track implementation, highlight challenges and successes as well as to provide a financial account for the use of resources. The successful incumbent in this position will provide key day-to-day accounting, budget management services and oversight for the COAG’s funded by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. You will oversee the development and management of the national M&E database by developing and conducting standardized methodologies to manage, collect, process, and ensure a high quality of data. You will work closely with the Response M&E staff to help further develop the M&E Subdivision within the Ministry.
